Front-End Web Developer with previous experience in web development and technical writing. In previous roles, I was exposed to technologies like cascade, WordPress, and JavaScript through website maintenance and project management. I have knowledge of creating and editing WordPress plugins. In programming, and as a supervisor, I have used scrum to work on projects that required reinventing and updating past materials.
I have had many chances to showcase my leadership skills through organizations as well as through an internship at Neubus. At TAMUCC, through the computer science club, I was able to plan out code jams for my department, and participate in them.
Recently I earned a certificate in Full Stack Development through the University of Texas where I expanded my skills in back-end web development using mangoDB/SQL, helping inexperienced programmers with javascript, and fine tuning my ability to create demo projects to present.
My goal is to expand within a development role and grow into a leadership position while I continue to expand my education in scrum or other management related courses. I believe what makes a programmer stand out is the ability to recognize and excel in visualizing the full scale of their project while being able to focus on their part of the program.
